Cholesterol Checks For Children?

I saw this reported on the Today show this morning. If you’ve heard of Melody Peterson’s book “Our Daily Meds“, then you may be thinking that the pharma marketers are going after a new market for statins by targeting children. Could be, I guess.

Years ago, my doctor prescribed such medicine in an attempt to lower my cholesterol to an acceptable level. It didn’t work because I had such bad side effects (sharp pains in my legs) from it. Four months into our Isagenix program, my current doctor checked my cholesterol and found a drop of 80 points! Hmm, traditional medicine versus superfood nutrition. Which one to choose?
